Meta-Elemente geben eine Gesamtübersicht mit Thema einer Seite, gewiss registrierte sich bald hoch, dass die Inanspruchnahme er Vorschläge nicht ordentlich war, da die Wahl der eingesetzten Schlüsselworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Abbildung des Seiteninhalts wiedergeben konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Webseiten bei speziellen Recherchieren listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller verschiedene Merkmale in des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beherrschen, dass die Seite passender in den Serps gelistet wird.[3] Da die späten Suchmaschinen sehr auf Gesichtspunkte abhängig waren, die einzig in den Händen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr anfällig für Schindluder und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um gehobenere und relevantere Testurteile in den Ergebnissen zu bekommen, mussten wir sich die Unternhemer der Suchmaschinen im Internet an diese Gegebenheiten angleichen. Weil der Gelingen einer Suchmaschine davon abhängig ist, besondere Suchergebnisse zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten ungeeignete Testurteile darin resultieren, dass sich die Nutzer nach diversen Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten für die Suche im Web umsehen. Die Lösung der Suchmaschinen im Internet lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Ranking, die Gesichtspunkte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur mühevoll beherrschbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin konstruierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Suchmaschinen – eine Recherche, die auf einem mathematischen Suchalgorithmus basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Unterseiten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Can someone help me with the issue:
When I enable the SEO in System>Settings>Store>Server Tab, everything looks and runs Okay, exept when I go in ANY sub-category.
Then the site's URL goes from MySiteNameURL/MainCategory, to MySiteNameURL/MainCategory/AnySubCategory and CSS and JS are not loading at all! The category items listed in this categories are loading , exept the Style CSS file and any JS I have. In other words the site's style is gone.
But:
But if I drop the MainCategory from the URL and enter directly: MySiteNameURL/AnySubCategory the site is finding the correct path to the CSS and JS and everything is Okay.
Please, could someone help me with this? Thank You.

IMPORTANT FOR localhost! If you running project under sub directory for example localhost/opencart/upload you should update .htaccess

Thanks for the video, this made things that little easier for me, the only difference I had to make was to add a few custom lines from my .htaccess to the bottom of the new .txt one as my site forces https access. Took a few seconds and no issues so far 🙂
Doing this has broken all product pages. When I click on any product I open an error page that says something like this: "Fatal error: Uncaught Twig_Error_Loader: Unable to find template "extension/module/quickorder.twig" followed by paths that are missing.

That said, I have my opencart installed in a sub-domain environment , speak https://opencart.mydomain.com
Then again, what about all the product pages? They still show an ugly, ridiculous URL like:
index.php?route=product/product&product_id=40 ???
Who would ever try to even think about buying a product_id=40 from any online store?

I had this setup just fine on my site, but now I'm working with a multi site, and the seo url's do not work with the additional store. I get error 500. I can not figure out why.

I have two htaccess files
htaccess and .htaccess.txt
What do I do here, delete htaccess which is the original file and amend the .htaccess.txt by removing the .txt extension?

Hello. I have made all as described here, but get 404. And not seo urls works. My site use 2 languages and I have set keywords for both languages. Finally it works, but changing language go to home page and connection on seo url pages are not secure.
It would be good to add that one should only put category_id=xxx for category etc. because first I was trying to add the whole link with index.php and so one.
