Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten direkt den Wert einer lieblings Positionierung in Suchergebnissen und recht bald entwickelten sich Behörde, die sich auf die Verfeinerung qualifitierten. In Anfängen vollzogen wurde die Aufnahme oft bezüglich der Übertragung der URL der entsprechenden Seite an die vielfältigen Internet Suchmaschinen. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Untersuchung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Webpräsenz auf den Server der Search Engine, wo ein weiteres Software, der so genannte Indexer, Informationen herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu diversen Seiten). Die späten Modellen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die aufgrund der Webmaster selbst vorhanden wurden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Internet wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben eine Übersicht mit Gegenstand einer Seite, dennoch setzte sich bald raus, dass die Verwendung dieser Vorschläge nicht vertrauenswürdig war, da die Wahl der angewendeten Schlüsselworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Beschreibung des Seiteninhalts reflektieren konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Unterseiten bei charakteristischen Brauchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller verschiedenartige Fähigkeiten innerhalb des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beeinflussen, dass die Seite überlegen in den Serps aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die damaligen Internet Suchmaschinen sehr auf Punkte angewiesen waren, die allein in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr anfällig für Schindluder und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um vorteilhaftere und relevantere Testergebnisse in Suchergebnissen zu bekommen, musste ich sich die Betreiber der Internet Suchmaschinen an diese Voraussetzungen anpassen. Weil der Erfolg einer Suchseite davon zusammenhängt, wichtige Ergebnisse der Suchmaschine zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, konnten untaugliche Testergebnisse dazu führen, dass sich die User nach ähnlichen Varianten für den Bereich Suche im Web umschauen. Die Auskunft der Internet Suchmaschinen vorrat in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Platz, die Aspekte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht leicht kontrollierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin gestalteten mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Google – eine Anlaufstelle, die auf einem mathematischen Suchsystem basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Internetseiten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus einfließen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
