Drunk driver crashes, heads straight to dealership to attempt to promote broken automotive with missing tire

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 times the authorized alcohol restrict after at least 5 people known as 911.

Officers say the calls began coming in round 4:40 p.m. Monday.

They say witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway near the Primary Road exit. They are saying the crash brought on a flat tire and the car to smoke, but the driver kept going.

Different callers say the driving force was all around the road and now lacking a entrance tire.

They say he finally stopped at a car dealership and appeared “tremendous drunk.”

Staff told police the driving force, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was trying to promote his SUV.

Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had just been in a crash.

They say Mattingly smelled of alcohol and virtually fell a number of instances. Officers say he examined .291 on a transportable breath test.

Police say inside his SUV, they discovered 4 Loko cans and a can of White Claw.

Mattingly is dealing with several prices.

He is the son of the supervisor for the Miami Marlins and former skilled baseball participant, Don Mattingly.
