BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple signs saying "college shooter" were found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Security announced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple fees.

Hanson allegedly placed the signs across the communities, the Division of Safety mentioned, however they determined there isn't a credible threat at the moment.
The New Hampshire Division of Security is investigating signs that read 'college shooter!' which were found in multiple communities New Hampshire Department of SecurityOne such sign was written on a paper plate. The safety division launched a photo of the plate but blurred a part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of criminal threatening and three misdemeanor prices including false report to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and prison threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged at this time.
