The family of an 11-year-old woman who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother said the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed through the shooting.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law known as me and she was just crying, like 'I feel it just hit Miah. I feel every part got here to actuality now,'" mentioned Blanca Rivera.

Rivera mentioned Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of the two teachers killed. Her buddies and classmates have been also focused.

Rivera mentioned that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah received some blood and put it on herself so she may fake she was useless," mentioned Rivera. Miah was injured but taken to the hospital and has been launched.
