Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete safety barrier close to the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the car about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front across the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles in the car. Both have been taken to a hospital and are now in stable condition, officials said. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face prices.
