Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete safety barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles within the automotive. Both had been taken to a hospital and are actually in steady situation, officials said. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face costs.

D.C. police are investigating.
