Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Massive Macs day-after-day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Large Mac streak started on Might 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend every Huge Mac. I’ve counted each Large Mac I’ve eaten my entire life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Large Macs a day.

“All by life right here, a lot of people mentioned, ‘You’ll be dead before you reach 50 years of eating Large Macs.’ I assume I proved them unsuitable,” he said.

His son just isn't surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We always went to McDonald’s with my dad and had completely happy meals. I all the time liked my chicken nuggets, and my brother all the time loved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life sort of thing for us,” he mentioned.

Gorske’s son has extra of a varied diet.

“I used to eat hen nuggets day-after-day. I used to eat cheeseburgers every single day, however ultimately you simply get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, but he definitely does,” he said.

Gorske says he'll continue consuming Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side till he dies.

“Plenty of times individuals will say, ‘You look like I’m consuming a Huge Mac for the first time,’” Gorske mentioned. “I assume that’s how I really feel sometimes. They’re that good to me, and there’s actually nothing else I’d quite eat,” he stated.
