Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Large Macs daily

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Big Mac streak began on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count each Huge Mac. I’ve counted each Large Mac I’ve eaten my whole life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All by means of life here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be dead earlier than you reach 50 years of eating Massive Macs.’ I guess I proved them mistaken,” he stated.

His son shouldn't be stunned at his father’s persistence.

“We at all times went to McDonald’s with my dad and had pleased meals. I at all times liked my hen nuggets, and my brother all the time beloved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an on a regular basis life form of thing for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has more of a diverse weight loss program.

Gorske says he will proceed consuming Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the aspect until he dies.
