Teen arrested after mom seen son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey Information) - A number of businesses responded to a middle faculty in Texas Friday morning after a young person’s mother seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center College around 9 a.m. when she observed the firearm. The teen never made it inside the building, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the realm together with several other companies in an attempt to search out him.
The teenager was discovered close to the varsity’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old may very well be going through a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no risk made to the varsity or anybody inside the college.
O.L. Slaton Middle College was briefly placed on lockout on account of the incident.
