Teen arrested after mom noticed son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey Information) - A number of businesses responded to a center college in Texas Friday morning after a young person’s mother seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle School round 9 a.m. when she observed the firearm. The teenager never made it contained in the constructing, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the realm along with several different businesses in an try to search out him.
The teenager was found near the college’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old may very well be dealing with a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no threat made to the college or anybody inside the school.
