Supreme Court docket says wrongful death lawsuit in opposition to Dallas officers can go forward

DALLAS - The high court will allow a wrongful loss of life lawsuit to proceed against town of Dallas and four police officers.

The household of a person who died in police custody in 2016 sued.

Tony Timpa called police for assist as he had a drug and mental well being disaster.

The Supreme Court upheld a federal appeals court docket’s ruling that will permit the case to proceed.
