Students walk out of faculties in protest of gun violence

The 17 year-old says her college's administration was in support of the walkout and he or she hopes the over 200 planned demonstrations across the nation send a clear message that students are a "united front."

A walkout may not essentially change legislation, Janoff stated, but these actions show "students are still united on this."

She mentioned that though most college students aren't old enough to vote, they still wish to see change and are willing to take measures to have their voices heard in politics.

"College students don't must be quiet about it simply because they seem to be a child," Janoff said.
