Russian spy aircraft violates Swedish air house

A Russian reconnaissance airplane briefly violated Sweden’s airspace on Friday, Swedish defense officers stated on Saturday, as the Scandinavian nation ponders a bid for NATO membership after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“A Russian AN-30 propeller airplane violated Swedish airspace on Friday night,” the Swedish defense ministry stated in an announcement, including that its teams had followed the incident and photographed it.
The ministry mentioned the aircraft was flying east of Bornholm, a Danish island within the Baltic, before it headed towards Swedish territory.
“It's totally unacceptable to violate Swedish airspace,” public television SVT quoted Protection Minister Peter Hultqvist as saying.
“This motion is unprofessional and given the general security situation very inappropriate. Swedish sovereignty should at all times be revered.”
