New York sex worker Angelina Barini sentenced to 30 years for fatally drugging 4 males

Between July and August 2019, sex worker Angelina Barini met with her purchasers at motels in New York Metropolis before giving them harmful doses of medication that incapacitated them. Then, she would rob the lads and go away with their private belongings.

In August, Barini pleaded responsible to distributing medicine that killed her shoppers, including fentanyl and gamma-butyrolactone, known for inflicting irrational conduct, severe illness, coma and loss of life.

Last week, a decide sentenced the 43-year-old Barini to 30 years in prison.

Barini met her first victim at a motel in Astoria, Queens, on July 4, 2019. There, she gave the man fentanyl-laced medicine and left the room. Police found him useless hours later, courtroom information state.

Per week later, on July 11, Barini had an encounter with one other man at a motel in Woodside, Queens, where she gave him fentanyl-laced drugs. The man additionally died of a drug overdose, a complaint states.

The subsequent month, on Aug. 5, Barini met her third victim in School Point, Queens, and again gave him fentanyl-laced drugs that led to a deadly overdose, prosecutors mentioned.

Later that month, on Aug. 18, Barini met her final identified sufferer, Andrea Zamperoni — a chef for the high-end restaurant chain Cipriani — inside an Elmhurst, Queens, motel room, where she drugged him with gamma-butyrolactone, generally generally known as a “date rape” drug. The man died shortly afterward.

That day, court data state, Barini repeatedly tried to dispose of the victim’s physique. Barini wrapped Zamperoni’s body in bleach-stained sheets and positioned it inside a trash bin, based on prosecutors. Zamperoni was reported lacking on Aug. 21, prosecutors stated. Fernando Dallorso, the general manager of Cipriani in New York, instructed the New York Instances that Zamperoni was a “devoted hard worker” who cooked six days every week and “by no means missed a day of labor.”

The kitchen workers mourned the loss, Dallorso told the Times.

“Everyone in the kitchen right now is heartbroken, from the dishwasher to the chef,” Dallorso stated.
