New York Attorney Basic Letitia James will investigate social media companies including Amazon's Twitch in connection to the apparently racially motivated taking pictures at a Buffalo supermarket that left 10 lifeless and three injured.
James' office may even focus on 4chan, 8chan and Discord, however will not be limited to these platforms, based on a news launch revealed Wednesday. Investigators will take a look at online assets the gunman "used to discuss and amplify his intentions and acts to carry out this attack."
The shooter initially livestreamed his actions to Twitch in the course of the massacre at Tops grocery retailer on Saturday. Twenty-two people considered the livestream before it was eliminated, based on The Washington Put up.
