BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after a number of indicators saying "college shooter" had been found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security introduced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple costs.

An increased amount of law enforcement officials had been positioned at colleges in the communities on account of the indicators. A number of colleges initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the indicators across the communities, the Department of Safety mentioned, however they decided there is no such thing as a credible threat right now.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The protection division released a photograph of the plate however blurred part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of legal threatening and three misdemeanor costs together with false report back to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.

No different suspects have been charged right now.
