BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "college shooter" have been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Safety announced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of fees.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs across the communities, the Department of Security mentioned, but they determined there isn't a credible threat presently.
The New Hampshire Division of Safety is investigating signs that read 'faculty shooter!' which have been present in a number of communities New Hampshire Department of SafetyOne such signal was written on a paper plate. The security department released a photo of the plate but blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of criminal threatening and three misdemeanor fees together with false report back to law enforcement, false public alarm and legal threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged at this time.
