Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Near White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automotive slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Both were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in steady condition, officials mentioned. We don't know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
