Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive into a concrete security barrier close to the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front across the street from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There were two juveniles in the automobile. Both had been taken to a hospital and are now in steady condition, officials stated. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
