Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile right into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the car about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automobile slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Both have been taken to a hospital and are now in stable condition, officials mentioned. We don't know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face costs.
