Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Close to White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile right into a concrete security barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There were two juveniles within the car. Both have been taken to a hospital and are now in secure condition, officers said. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re anticipated to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
