  1. My iron game has become better from your videos but my driving game is still pretty shotty, out of 9 holes I hit 2 good drives definitely need to hit up a driving range.

  2. You are good!!! I stopped playing for 8-9 years, injuries. I just started back a couple months ago. I got my little launch monitor out and started hitting balls, lots of balls. I lost so much speed/distance. I could not figure it out. I just figured I was just getting old. I'm 67 now, so I just started thinking that was it. Well, I watched this video and problem solved. Speed back, distance back. Working on consistency now. Thanks so much… I have been retired for 3 years now so I have lots of time to work on my game.

  3. Thanks Danny, the idea of visualizing the angle of the shaft at impact is so simple but powerful. This has been a game changer for me. I appreciate your knowledge and style. Well done!

  4. This was really helpful. Going through the difference in the iron shot was really great, because that called out something I knew was wrong but didn't realize when i had suddenly lost 70 yard on my driver. I've been subconsciously swinging it like a 5 iron. Thanks Mr. Maude! Can't wait to apply this in the backyard into the net.

  5. This does work. Why?

I saw a 15 year old kid, maybe 5’3” 120 lbs. at the range. He drove the ball like 270… range balls mind you!

It seemed so effortless but the distances he was getting.. 😮😮😮😮

  6. Just filmed myself Co inside with this episode playing. It’s Great visually for me to see the over the top swing is disappearing an club head dropping !
More repetition of this swing for the muscle memory. Can’t wait to see the improvements on my swing over the next few weeks now
    Cheers Danny 👏😎

  7. Danny, I love your videos because they have helped me quite a bit, since I started playing golf late in life. There is only one thing that puzzles me. I cannot believe that the distances (266, 267 etc.) shown on the simulator come from such a light swing. Because of my age, my swing speed is between 75 and 80 mph and even when I hit the sweet spot, I struggle to get 200 yards.

  8. Simple yet exactly what I needed to understand. All the things I’ve been shown have overcomplicated everything to the point I didn’t know what I was supposed to be achieving. Thanks for a great video.

  9. Okay I'll comment. Great video, I learned much from you now at age 70, but I have had 2 hole in ones on par 4s. having a hard time hitting it 200 off the tee now. I think your lesson will help. Much thanks Danny.

  10. Another great instructional video. I'm still new to this game and just picked up my first driver and slice it well over 80% of the time. one of my golf buddies told me that I get my hips too far ahead of my swing and that is resulting in a open face. Also, have too much old baseball finish (on my back foot and leaning back). will give this drill a try to slow things down and square that face. Thanks you do a great job.

  11. Danny, I never see much wrist hinge in backswing. Is it better to have less with more shoulder turn or a combination of both to enhance speed and power?

  12. Thanks for another great video Danny! This is just what a pro told me to do after watching me hit balls. To me it feels like I need to make an early release of the club (vs. almost no release). It's given me greater distance and height than before for all my clubs. All the best Danny!

  13. Danny I have to say that this video and your recent video on how to strike your irons, with a first person view of wrist action and your explanations of body movement are 2 of the best instructional videos I have seen. The first person view from your eyes is such a light bulb moment for me, to get clarity on what my wrists should be doing to get it “right” at and through impact. The box exercise with driver is simple but wow how effective re immediate feedback. Again brilliant instructional videos. Thank you.

  14. Gobsmacked is an understatement 😯. I'm struggling to comprehend how that swing produces 266yds. Off to the driving range again. Really informative coaching and practical tips. Brilliant.

  15. I always been able to hit my Irons, wedges, woods, so flush and for the most part straight. But my driver has always tore apart my score often in rounds. Honestly the one thing I changed that fixed my hard driver slice was how I'm griping the club. It made all the difference in the world just one little tweak adjustment. I went through countless lessons and nothing helped me more than the grip. So on top of this video I would look at that too if you guys are having trouble as it helped improve my accuracy tons.

  16. The same swing and turn is used for the driver and every other club as well. One ball position off the left heel with stance shoulder width for all full shots. You have to learn how to hit down and through with the club opened a click to square. It's the setup you use to hit your driver for all clubs. You have to learn how to hit down while feeling like you are swinging up through impact. Keep up the good work Danny.
