DALLAS - A 15-year-old girl from North Richland Hills is now home after being kidnapped by a person at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks sport at American Airlines Center. But the household nonetheless seeks answers, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not appearing swiftly sufficient relating to the crime, which had the lady as part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone lacking a complete of 11 days,” lawyer Zeke Fortenberry said. “Our intent is that manner (the aforementioned organizations) are on discover that we’re pursuing claims against them for his or her negligence and different causes of motion.''

Fortenberry said the teen’s father informed police at the sport when he realized she was missing. But, based on the attorney, the father was told to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the lady was found, the team releasing the next statement: “The American Airways Middle (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been discovered.Each entities will continue to cooperate with native and regional law enforcement on this case.''
